After years and years of eating all the wrong things, my mother now has to diet and eat only healthy foods due to health problems. Tired of hearing her complain how horrible and tasteless it all is. Is there anything I can do to make it more fun/taste better for her? I’m not a health food eater myself, so I don’t know what to do. I’m afraid she’ll sneak junk foods behind my back at this rate. Are there any good healthy snacks for example?

I am doing an awareness campaign about maintaining a healthy heart and I will be giving a session to other students in my school about keeping your heart healthy. I want some ways to make the session interesting, activities maybe or something.
Any ideas??
Thank you
I cook eat whites, oatmeal, salad, chicken, fish , I have to eat 6 meals a day but it’s difficult because it takes a long time to prepare I’ve resorted to eating tuna straight outta the can.
And I have protein shakes, are there any tips for meals that need little or no preparation that are healthy for you , Thanks!
Does anyone know what are good foods and vitamins for getting a healthy heart and improving circulation?
I always drink from the wall mounted drinking water fountain at my workplace. Recently, I have been feeling sick. Perhaps the water fountain made me sick? For the past two days, there has been a water bubble sticking out of the water hole of the fountain.
Can you get sick or injured from drinking water from a wall mounted drinking water fountain?
I have been to 2 cardiologists and a whole bunch of other doctors to check if I have a heart problem. They’ve done multiple tests and all conclude that I have a healthy heart. At times I feel a sense of my heart skipping a beat and off and on pain, I do suffer from some health anxiety and it stresses me out. I have a heart obsession I’m always afraid of something happening with my heart. I’m 21 yrs old and overweight but I have been eating healthy. I eat fish, lots of veggies and drink organic juices. So I just want to know if thinking bad things all the time can cause bad things to happen?
I am 15 years old and I am overweigth. I am researching around and looking on how to eat healthy, because frankly, I have been eating hamburgers and chicken nuggets my whole life and I know I need to change. But my parents continue to buy hot dogs and ice cream bars, especially my dad. They are reluctant to change but I want to educate them on how to eat whole grains, vegetables, and fruits instead of all meat.
The problem is that they have to buy the right stuff so that I can eat it, because obviously, I can’t go grocery shopping. My mom is currently on the atkins diets and I’m pretty sure its not working. How can I get her to eat healthy and buy the right stuff.
If my blood pressure is fine, does it mean my heart is healthy? What other tests can be done to determine if your heart is healthy? I am 28 and have heart problems in my family. Am I too young to go for a cholesterol test? Anything I can eat/drink to improve my heart function? I only exercise lightly due to fibromyalgia.
Peroxide vs Bleach
This was written by Becky Ransey of Indiana (a doctor’s wife), and I
want to share it with you. She was over recently for coffee and smelled
the bleach I was using to clean my toilet and counter tops. This is what
she told me:
“I would like to tell you of the benefits of that plain little ole
bottle of 3% peroxide you can get for under $1.00 at any drug store.
What does bleach cost? My husband has been in the medical field for over
36 years, and most doctors don’t tell you about peroxide.
“Have you ever smelled bleach in a doctor’s office ?
NO!!! Why? Because it smells, and it is not healthy! Ask the nurses who
work in the doctor’s offices, and ask them if they use bleach at home.
They are wiser and know better!
“Did you also know bleach was invented in the late 40’s? It’s chlorine,
folks! And it was used to kill our troops..
“Peroxide was invented during WWI. It was used to save and help cleanse
the needs of our troops and hospitals. Please think about this:
1. Take one capful (the little white cap that comes with the bottle) and
hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, then spit it out… (I do it
when I bathe.) No more canker sores, and your teeth will be whiter
without expensive pastes. Use it instead of mouthwash….
2. Let your toothbrushes soak in a cup of peroxide to keep them free of
germs.
3. Clean your counters and table tops with peroxide to kill germs and
leave a fresh smell.. Simply put a little on your dishrag when you wipe
down your countertops, or spray it on the counters directly.
4. After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour peroxide on it to
Kill salmonella and other bacteria.
5. I had fungus on my feet for years until I sprayed a 50/50 mixture of
Peroxide and water on them (especially the toes) every night and let
dry..
6. Soak any infections or cuts in 3% peroxide for five to ten minutes
several times a day. My husband has seen gangrene that would not heal
with any medicine but was healed by soaking in peroxide.
7. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water and
keep it in every bathroom to disinfect without harming your septic
system like bleach or most other disinfectants will.
8. Tilt your head back and spray into nostrils with your 50/50 mixture
whenever you have a cold, plugged sinus. It will bubble and help to kill
the bacteria. Hold for a few minutes, and then blow your nose into a
tissue.
9. If you have a terrible toothache and cannot get to a dentist right
away, put a capful of 3% peroxide into your mouth and hold it for ten
minutes several times a day. The pain will lessen greatly.
10… Put half a bottle of peroxide into your bath water to help rid
boils, fungus, or other skin infections..
11. You can also add a cup of peroxide instead of bleach to a load of
whites in your laundry to whiten them. If there is blood on clothing
pour it directly on the soiled spot. Let it sit for a minute, then rub
it and rinse with cold water.
Repeat if necessary..
12. I use peroxide to clean my mirrors. There is no smearing, which is
why I love it so much for this.
“I could go on and on. It is a little brown bottle no home should be
without!
“With prices of most necessities rising, I’m glad there’s a way to save
tons of money in such a simple, healthy manner!”

One’s body is absolutely an exceptional machine and when it is operating properly, we rarely ever worry about any difficulties that may be happening on the outside as a result of problems on the inside. The unfortunate point is, we are living in a world which does not consequently encourage a healthy way of life or supply us what we need to have to be as healthy as we can be. We tend to be bombarded by things that are terrible for us, both within the situations around us plus inside the foods and nutrients that we consume and the water that we drink. For many people, this ends in irregularity and other IBS signs or symptoms.
Surprisingly, it isn’t all that hard for you to get rid of your irritable bowel syndrome and to do away with a lot of the symptoms that you could be experiencing. It truly has to do with the balance that’s on the inside of one’s body, however fragile that balance may be. The unfortunate thing is, medical science is truly unable to determine why it is that we have IBS in the first place. As a matter of fact, they simply tend to lump all of the different difficulties into the same category, even though they are obviously different problems. For example, they would call problems with diarrhea irritable bowel syndrome while also calling constipation the same thing.
When you genuinely want to get rid of your IBS ailments, you have to be sure that this healthy balance within your body is as optimal as possible. To begin with, I would like to let you know that it might be extremely hard for you to balance this perfectly. As a consequence of a variety of farming techniques and the imperfection of man, it is impossible to get a lot of these digestive support enzymes, while they were honestly meant to exist within your body. Even so, you possibly can typically give the body what it really requires once you feed it adequately.
This is sometimes a little bit difficult for a individual with Irritable bowel syndrome, especially since a lot of these digestive enzymes are available to you in raw vegetables and fruits. That’s why it may be necessary for you to supplement routinely as a way to bring this balance back to the body so that it is possible to begin to take them in naturally. This could possibly be done through pills available throughout the health food store or via a daily probiotic. It might take a little experimentation to discover something that does not upset you but when you finally find it, you should experience the road to recovery.
Are you ready to control your irritable bowel syndrome symptoms? Invite you to take control, today. Go to http://healthylivinginformation.net/IBS/ and get started controlling your symptoms and find health and happiness.

Examples of these substitutes include using low-fat yogurt instead of butter on a baked potato or use low sugar fruit spread on top of your toast rather than margarine. Also make sure to check food labels on crackers, chips and cookies because even though many of these snacks can be labeled reduced fat there may still be oils included which contain trans fats. Otherwise you will be working against you’re goal of eating for a healthy heart.
One red flag that indicates a food contains trans fats is if you find the phrasing “partially hydrogenated” within the ingredients list.

The human body is made up of around 70% water and so drinking water for health is essential our over-all well-being. Water transports nutrients and oxygen around the body, helps to get rid of waste and helps regulate body temperature. One of the easiest ways to calculate how much water your body needs each day is to divide your body weight in half, which will give you an estimation of your recommended daily intake of water in ounces. For instance, if you weigh 150 pounds, you should aim to drink at least 75 ounces of water. If you are active, you should drink an extra 8 ounce glass per 20 minutes of exercise as the body will expel extra water through perspiration in an attempt to cool your body down. It is also recommenced to drink an extra glass per hour if you are traveling by plane, and a glass of water per glass of alcohol of you are drinking. This will help keep your body hydrated, dilute the alcohol in your system and make the next day much more feasible. So drinking water for health will not only keep your body happy but your sanity as well. How Can We Get Enough? Drinking water for health is about thinking ahead. It is a good idea to carry a bottle of water with you everywhere you go, a trend that has picked up over the past few years. Or try to drink a glass of water every two hours, to keep you in the habit of drinking water regularly. This is important as many people leave drinking water until they feel thirsty, which means that your body is already dehydrated. Other signs of dehydration also include chronic pains in the joints and muscles, lower back pain, headache or constipation. The Urine Check! To see if you’re getting enough water, do a quick urine check when you go to the bathroom. If your urine is very dark yellow with a strong odor, then you are not drinking enough. The only time your urine should look dark in color is first thing in the morning, If however, your urine in pale yellow in color, then you are getting enough water. Drinking water for health should be a habit we should all try to get into, as it vital for our over-all well-being.
