You can teach them about the importance of pulse rates, and show them how to take check their own. You could then have them perform it on each other or calculate their own pulse. You could show them how to do a stepping exercise to achieve their max heart rate, then analyze the results. This is called the "Harvard Step Test". It’s a type of arobic exercise which is both educational and fun.
